They patronise the underdog, those workers in their better jobs
Insecurity's their biggest fear
Tempted by a vacancy, but it's who you know that counts you see
It's snakes and ladders at this company
Top positions wear and tear, big decision, going spare
I'd crack up within a year or two

In disarray I can't get used to this
A job's a job they keep on telling me

So I've put in for redundancy, the time has come to be set free
