"Sick of Suburbia" was the first song of the first album and the first promo video by Blob Hotel.

It was also the first song written with Mark's friend John Birtles and originally appeared as part of another project. However it was quickly re-recorded for the "Blob Collect" album and soon became the signature tune for Blob Hotel's early phase.
