Maybe I shouldn't moan
But at least I've got a home
Pop those balloons in Milton Keynes
That's one place I won't go

But sometimes I get sick of suburbia
Sick of suburbia getting to me
Sometimes wish I should have left earlier

Suburban surroundings aren't my scene
Many miles can Marlow House be seen
But I'd feel less urban
If I was wearing a turban

But sometimes I get sick of suburbia ........

There is Mrs. Betty Boob
And a Crombie couple nude
Scandal, lies and gossip too
"Friendly" neighbours could do it to you

There's playing fields near blocks of flats
Full of kids and dogs and cats
Lots of trouble in different shapes
All the types you love to hate

But sometimes I get sick of suburbia .....
