"PICTURE OF YOU" REVIEWS

London calling
Very brit-pop sounding. The voice sounds very much like Damon Albarn's. I'm in London, walking by the Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park, watching the double deckers and the bobbies on a sunny Sunday afternoon, thinking about how simple life can be and tasting a Cadbury's Dairy Milk chocolate bar in my mouth.
I enjoy the feel a lot, I move my fingers like I'm playing the piano. That piano!. The lyrics.. pictures of you, like the The Cure song.

Granny escapes from hospital
granny escapes from hospital and falls in love with a fat policeman, they steal a 50' convertible and run away in the oblivion.
how cool is this beatles piano riff with the late 50's reverb vocals, nice chords too ! mono drums panned one side, chamber music ensemble makes it very hironic and interesting. maybe the metal-shake percussion is a bit in-your-face as it is dryer and pops out of the mix. funny drum programming.peculiar vibe.fun lyrics. needs to be listened again...

Review
well this tune reminds me of "pictures of lily" by "the who" - the lyrics are cool & fine buy me - the arrangement was just long enough - the production was good - had a bit of the beatles thing happenning - over all a pretty good track - very melodic - good job - best of luck with it.

Strange indeed!
I really like the chord progression underneath this melody in the verse. Interesting production as well. The vocalist is also different. Wow, love the violins, hints of ELO, love ELO!
This song is very unique, not like anything I've heard. The dynamics are really interesting, wild song, takes you for a trip! Quirky yet cool! Nice interesting work, good job!

Original and varied
I can actually say I've never heard a song just like this. The arrangement is slightly standard, but the choice of instruments and they way they were recorded and mixed is very different.
In an age lacking in originality, it's refreshing to hear a band sounds like they want, rather than what they're told to sound like. The bass drum is very natural and "roomy", the shakers are quite clear. Nothing is over processed, I like the clarity of that.

Earwax candle making
A picture of you I can only imagine. Interesting beginning and fun sort of stuff in the middle with the moaning violin. I am freezing a picture of you in my mind. I am guessing this is the hook.. I guess it works cause I keep saying picture of you.

Very nice song smart arrangement
I love the ambience, dark yet crazy feel, your transitions are very nice, the sparse music with intelligent placement of the arrangement are very engaging.

Cool chords
sounds like a diminished second chord? sounds sort of like the zombies, they did alot of piano things like this, this is good though, cool lyrics, esp the line folded in two, and how you keep talking about this damn picture but make rhymes from it, this has a britpop vibe, pretty interesting. unique for pop, backings sound like beach boys.

Fine odd retro melodic photo obsession
Unusual, slightly weirdified and strongly 60's retro pop tune. Decent, sensitive and gentle REM-like vocals. Creative, adventurous theatrically-appreciative stylized production and instrumentation. Shall we take in the circus?
Arrangement is interestingly experimental, trying different beats and various modernized sounds and surprises. Other than a generalized conglomoration of mostly 60's retro feel, and perhaps some slightly more obscure specific song from that era (of which I know there is one, but can't quite specifically recall to name), you don't sound particularly like anyone I can think of.
